The name Sonata Foundation came from a quiet moment — one of joy, grace, and unexpected warmth.

It stayed. And it became a symbol. Of overlooked brilliance. Of potential that doesn’t ask for permission. Of  a future waiting to be built — one girl at a time.

Sonata Foundation Inc. was born from that feeling, and shaped by a simple idea:

Even the smallest spark can lead to something transformative.

That's where we began.

But now, we are building something far larger.

Sonata Foundation is launching two cutting-edge labs  — in Jakarta and Hawaii  — to transform waste into clean fuel, data into solutions, and Southeast Asia's girls into AI-powered scientific leaders.

These labs are more than physical spaces.

They are synchronized engines of innovation.

Jakarta works in real-world chaos.  Hawaii refines in scientific calm.

Together, they validate, iterate, and scale what others said was impossible.

Why girls?  Why now?

Because the next wave of climate science must look and think different.

Because no one else is building this future  — so we will.

We are not training assistants.  We are inviting collaborators.  

Girls at Sonata are trained to think at the highest level  — to model environmental problems with AI, analyze experimental data, ad contribute to the design of new technologies and clean fuel systems.  They may co-file patents.  They will present findings.  They will test, lead, and stand on the same platforms as the scientists and engineers shaping our century.
